Taking over Tricity with Cake Doodles

Converting your passion into a profession is a dream of all, but to do this you need conviction and 100% commitment. This is what brought Akanksa Khare, the name behind Cake Doodles to where she is today.

No one ever complained about having too much cake, cakes and bakes are something everyone loves, irrespective of their age and gender. Taking her passion to the next level, Akanksha Khare, the name behind the sweet house, Cake Doodles tells us about her journey, “CakeDoodles was started in June 2020 during Covid-19. Initially, it all started as a hobby but the same was very well appreciated by all who had tasted and seen the presentation. It motivated me to start it as commercial baking from my home itself. Initially, I was skeptical about its success because parallelly I had to manage my studies also. But gradually with the support of my family and all near and dear ones I could manage it and my dream came true through CakeDoodles. One of the famous quotes by Michael Jordan is- ‘I can accept failure. Everyone fails at something. But I cannot accept not trying. This is what gave me the courage to turn my passion into a successful brand CakeDoodles- Every bite…kuch kehti hai.”

She gets her inspiration every day through the thought of chasing her dreams by the means of her products which create happiness among her customers on their special days. Her vision behind the brand is to create the name Cake Doodles synonym for quality bakery products that provide value for money. Talking about her biggest challenge on the way, she says, “home delivery and transportation of cakes is the biggest challenge for us as cakes are extremely fragile and sensitive to weather. The next challenge is the process of finding paying customers for CakeDoodles bakes. Most of the time we home bakers struggle in finding the right type of customer. Customers do not understand our prices and we end up negotiating on prices.”
