With the lockdown extending for months together due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the regular and usual lifestyle has been sabotaged and replaced by confinement into our homes, sans any physical and social interaction. This has also brought an economic slowdown, loss of jobs and a financial setback that has negatively impacted many lives. The social isolation and financial instability have disturbed the mental wellbeing and has brought a lot of catastrophic changes.

So, here are a few tips on how to manage this unprecedented time:

  • Share your Feelings and Emotions: Different thoughts and feelings pass through a turbulent mind. Sometimes, they could be so dramatic, that they can have a lifelong negative impact. So, whenever there is a strong negative emotional impulse, try to share it with a close family member or friend. It helps in overcoming the emotion and provide mental stability to find a way forward. It is important to have support in your life with whom you can share your wellbeing and trust with your decisions and emotions.
