Kikar Lodge is not just a hotel chain, it’s a manifestation of the warmth and love that is inherent to Punjabis. Amrinder Singh Chopra, CEO, The Kikar Lodge in conversation with Nikita Agarwal talks about his vision and what sets his brand apart from the rest in the industry. “From the very beginning, we have been driven by the desire to spread this spirit of Punjabiyat to the rest of the country. As we expand our brand to Goa and beyond, we aim to share the same hospitality and grace that we are known for in Punjab,” he explains.
How is your resort in Goa different from the ones in Punjab?
Our Goa property is a beachside paradise, with beautiful old Portuguese villas that have been restored and are available for rent. Each villa has its own charm and character, ranging from two to five bedrooms, providing plenty of space for families or groups of friends to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. In contrast, our property in Punjab, Kikar Lodge, is situated in the heart of nature and offers a unique experience of adventure and relaxation. Here, guests can indulge in outdoor activities like trekking, horse riding, or even archery while surrounded by lush greenery. Both properties offer a unique experience that sets them apart, reflecting the essence of the regions they are located in.
Any other city you are planning on moving to?
Oh, absolutely! Our focus is on finding unique boutique properties that offer a one-of-a-kind experience for guests. I’m not talking about the run-of-the-mill destinations like Jaipur or Jodhpur, but rather places that offer something special and memorable. It’s not just about the destination, but also about the journey, and I’m committed to providing top-notch hospitality to make every stay unforgettable. So, as long as there are unique and charming boutique properties to discover, I’ll be on the lookout for my next adventure!
