A young girl who is trying to make a mark in the Punjabi industry, Preet Dhaliwal is a bombshell of talent filled with dedication and dreams. In conversation with Nikita Agarwal, she talks about her dreams and her journey till now.
When did you develop an interest in being an artist?
I started developing an interest in being an artist at a very young age. I used to have an interest in modelling, acting, and singing since I was very young. I started taking singing and dancing classes when I was in high school. I always felt driven towards the entertainment industry. So, being an artist was always on my mind and it was a dream.
Every artist is a brand themselves, what is your take on that?
I totally agree with the fact that every artist is a brand. The way you present yourself to the world is unique in its own way. Every individual is unique and different in their own way. Every artist, whether it is a singer, actor or dancer, etc. has their own set of qualities that they bring to the table. People might take influence from some artist, but no one can copy anyone.
As an artist, how would you describe yourself?
I would describe myself as a very down to earth person, I am very humble and respect everyone around me. I am someone who loves to entertain people. I have a unique personality of my own which defines me truly.
