Here’s internationally certified makeup artist, Namita speaking about her revelation into the aesthetics!
It is often said that in order to get on the right track, you need to walk on the wrong one; similar is the case of Namita who realized her inner-calling of becoming a makeup artist only when she was practicing as an English Professor in Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
“I was a born artist. While pursuing my education, I topped in Fine arts in DAV Public School and Commercial Arts in BBK DAV College and all my teachers suggested me to move to Delhi or Bombay for my further education. However, I took the leap of pursuing M.A. English, which was followed by my first job as an English lecturer at GNDU. All this while, the artist inside me was not very happy and I was not content with what I was doing. So, I decided to give up my job and start my new venture – Orane,” avers Namita, the Director for Orane Salons and Academic, a successful venture operating in Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Batala, Pathankot, and Raiyya. Orane is also the Technical Makeup Head for OIPL.
