What makes Waris Ahluwalia more than just another Hollywood actor, style icon and jewellery designer?

A polymath of distinct fields, Waris Ahluwalia dons various hats. He’s a designer, actor, artist, fashion muse, style icon and story teller. Hailing his roots from the Holy city of Amritsar, Waris along with his family moved to the New York City borough of Brooklyn when he was 5 years old.

In his initial years in this highly competitive world, he pursued a varied range of professional experiences, ranging from founding & playing in a band called the Savage Skulls to publishing and Information Technology. He was even rejected a job as sales assistant at a Gap clothing store, but he didn’t allow the declination dim his zeal. He has acted in several films, including “The Darjeeling Limited” and “The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou,” both directed by Wes Anderson, and Spike Lee’s “Inside Man”, to name a few.

However, the journey of his life took a new turn in the year 2003, when he decide to incarnate rings for himself, which led to the birth of his jewellery brand, House of Waris that has turned out be a trendsetter across the globe.
