Could you take us back to the beginnings of your journey?
My journey in event management commenced at the age of 15, where I found myself orchestrating fun parties that astonishingly transformed into resounding successes. However, I used to organize them just out of fun and I never anticipated that it would light the path for my future. As I grew older, I pursued a B.Sc. in Fashion Designing from NIIFT, Mohali. At that time, my dreams revolved around becoming a fashion designer, and I even had the opportunity to work on designing projects for renowned celebrities during my time in Mumbai.
So, how did the transition from fashion designing to event planning come about?
I have done many small businesses like re-selling clothing online and giving short courses to budding designers to explore ways to build my business.
It’s fascinating how life can steer us towards unexpected destinations. After organizing a captivating pop-up exhibition in Amritsar, I realized the potential of creating extraordinary experiences. It was during this event that I received a wedding planning opportunity, and ever since then, there has been no turning back!
This led me to embrace event planning, and THE TEAM VIBE was born. My goal was to connect with my audience’s vibe and bring memorable moments to life. I even pursued a Diploma in Wedding Planning from The Wedding School, Mumbai which makes me one of the first certified wedding planners in Amritsar.
