How did your journey start as a doctor? Why did you choose this field of specialty?
If I have to accredit my choice of field to one person, that has to be my father. He has played a noteworthy role in shaping my demeanour and outlook towards the field of gynaecology. Since I believe there’s something extraordinary about honouring women and honouring the birth process, my way of philanthropy was devoting my life to the field of obstetrics and gynaecology. That is when I decided to put my shoulder to the wheel and began working under a corporate setup before getting into a government job.
