Designing Detail-Oriented Luxury Living

Get a sneak peek into the world of design with insights from Monica Chadha, Founder & Interior Designer, Design Deconstruct, where luxury meets functionality and sustainability. Discover how she balances opulence with eco-consciousness while navigating the challenges of entrepreneurship as a woman in a male-dominated industry.

What inspired you to start Design Deconstruct?

We took our inspiration from the literal meaning of ‘deconstruct’ which means to analyze (a text or linguistic or conceptual system) by deconstruction. Design Deconstruct as a firm believes in the most cutting-edge luxury designs as well as cost effective solutions of structure & its usefulness which often means and requires to get down to the slightest details and build everything from the bottom up whilst keeping the aesthetical factors in mind.

What are your core design principles?

Interior Design is something that is always focused on our client’s needs & preferences. Our core principle is always creating a multipurpose yet luxurious and opulent environment. It is often characterized by lavish, expensive-looking materials and furnishings, as well as a high level of attention to detail.

A woman that inspired you in your journey?

When it comes to celebrating women or someone who has been inspiring in my journey, the field of interior design is of note for its never-ending list of brilliant female interior designers of the past & present. Whether it’s the 1920s icon Dorothy Draper or modern-day design mavens like Kelly Wearstler, the interior design sphere has been shaped by some of the most forward-thinking females who continue to inspire every new coming generation.
