What inspired you to start Meraki by Anahita?

From my earliest memories, my love affair with bags was undeniable. It was a passion that manifested even in the most unexpected places as even in my diaper days, I insisted on having a bag by my side. I believe the overall look is elevated with the right bag.

In a market filled with stunning designer bags, each telling its own story of craftsmanship, I felt a unique calling towards the quintessential Indian Potli. While designer bags are undeniably beautiful, a potli, to me, is the perfect complement to Indian wear. It adds that touch of tradition and sophistication. Feeling incomplete without a bag by my side, I embarked on the journey of Meraki by Anahita, with a specific focus on crafting exceptional potlis and handmade accessories that seamlessly blend tradition with modern elegance.

How do you navigate the challenges of being a woman entrepreneur in the fashion industry?

Being a woman in a competitive industry has its own level of challenges. From establishing a niche for handmade accessories to navigating the intricacies of the business world, every challenge has been a learning opportunity which has shaped me into a resilient and adaptable entrepreneur.
