One of the most-loved designers of the region, Neeru Sandhu tried her luck in an array of professions before following her inner calling of becoming a designer and as destiny would have it, she carved a niche for herself owing to her creative vision and acumen.
Hard work: The Key to Success
Sandhu moved back to India after completing her Honours in Healthcare Sciences from United Kingdom.
“After getting married to a friend, mentor and the most loving gentleman, I always knew that I wanted to start something and was ready to work hard towards it. However, at that time I had no niche, my mind wasn’t prepared on what to do. So, unfortunately, I started a couple of ventures and they failed drastically,” shared Sandhu who didn’t give up despite the odds.
“On one fine day, my friend asked me to help her design her wedding trousseau and that’s how I started and ever since then, I have never looked back. It took me almost six years to finally decide that this is what I wanted to do as a career and not a hobby,” added Sandhu.
