Arabian Travel Market 2023 Sets Record Attendance

The Middle East’s largest travel and tourism exhibition, Arabian Travel Market (ATM), celebrated its 30th edition in Dubai last week, setting a new record for the show with over 40,000 attendees, including 30,000 visitors, and a year-on-year increase of 29% in attendees compared to 2022. This also represented a 5% increase over 2019, indicating that the Middle East’s travel and tourism sector is thriving.

The theme of ATM 2023 was ‘Working Towards Net Zero’, and more than 2,100 exhibitors and representatives from over 150 countries gathered at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) to explore how the industry can ensure sustainable travel for future generations. Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME, Arabian Travel Market, expressed her joy at the record attendance, which she sees as a strong indication that the Middle East’s travel industry is in excellent shape.
