What inspired you to become a Vascular Surgeon? Is this something that you always wanted to do?
At the very onset, I wanted to go for Urology and Kidney Transplant. However, with the passage of time, while I was in training, I came across a few patients with Peripheral vascular disease and I saw there is hardly any treatment available in our area and rather in our country as a whole. That’s what instigated my interest in this field. While it was a great difficulty in the beginning to pave the way for its training, eventually it turned out to be a great experience becoming a vascular surgeon.
