Could you tell us about the philosophy behind Sindhi Sweets and its journey since 1976?

The core philosophy of Sindhi Sweets is to offer confections that are not only delectable but also pure enough to be considered prasad in a temple. Since our inception in 1976, we’ve been dedicated to providing exquisite taste and unwavering purity.

The recent introduction of a fine dining restaurant is very exciting. Can you give us a glimpse of what it offers?

Our new restaurant is not your average restaurant; it’s a massive outlet in Tricity. Our journey which began as a sweet shop, has now evolved into an upscale fine-dining restaurant that can host up to 125 people. It’s a versatile space for everything from roka ceremonies to birthday parties and kitty gatherings.

To ensure a memorable experience for families and kids, we have introduced a play area called ‘Funtastic Playzone’ where kids can have their own birthday celebrations and playtime while families enjoy quality time at the restaurant enjoying delicacies. We are also soon launching a café, which is going to be another trend setter in the region.

Additionally, Meethi Dori is an extension of our brand, which was previously known as Wraps N Ribbons which creates exotic wedding invites, baby announcements, return gifts for special occasions. Through this venture, we ensure premium quality and creative gift packaging for our customers.

The pandemic had a significant impact on businesses. How did Sindhi Sweets manage to sustain trust and success during that challenging period?

The pandemic indeed brought many businesses to a standstill. However, our commitment to hygiene and quality allowed us to endure the crisis. The trust we’ve built with our customers was crucial in sustaining our business during those tough times.

What’s next for Sindhi Sweets? Are there any expansion plans on the horizon?

Currently our focus is mainly on our new outlet which is expanding with a lot of diversions. However, we are also planning of expanding our footprint to Himachal Pradesh and other parts of the country.
