Make-up artist Sukhman Gill has inculcated an undying spirit and passion in her love for the art of make-up
Hailing her roots from Ludhiana, Sukhman Gill had a penchant for make-up ever since a very young age and little had she known that destiny had something so marvelous in store. It was only after her loved ones motivated her to take the plunge that she decided to convert her passion into profession and ever since then, there has been no turning back.
“I always enjoyed doing make-up as a teenager. I used to watch make-up videos on YouTube and practice the skills. After seeing my passion towards this art, my family encouraged me to pursue this professionally and ever since then, I have been practicing the art of make-up professionally,” informed Gill.
Changing Mindsets
“When I started my journey as a make-up artist, I realized that there was a lot of competition and lack of awareness about quality make-up services. Initially, people used to consider me as a person who provides beauty services in a beauty parlour, which was certainly not the case. Eventually, I accepted it in positive light and started educating people about make-up,” firmly shared Gill who emerged as a torchbearer in the make-up industry in Punjab.
Gill not only created awareness about quality make-up but also introduced the art of subtle make-up in the region.
