IPS Mandeep S Sidhu, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police (HQ), and Dr. Sukhmeen K Sidhu, Principal at Akal Degree College for Women, Sangrur, have dedicated their lives to fostering a better society through various impactful initiatives.
An officer of distinguished merit, Mandeep has garnered a plethora of accolades in recognition of his exemplary service. Prestigious recognitions such as the President Police Medals for both Meritorious and Distinguished Service, the Kathan Sewa Medal, Prakarm Padak, and the Baba Farid Medal for Honesty, adorn his record. Mandeep: It’s all about prioritizing and having a passion for making a difference. My role in the police force and my countless initiatives, all stem from a desire to see a better and healthier society. It’s challenging but deeply rewarding.
Sukhmeen: For me, it’s about integrating my work and social contributions. Being in the education sector, my focus on girl child education and health awareness programs dovetails with my professional responsibilities. It’s fulfilling to empower young women through education and health awareness.
