About Him: Joined his father’s company in the year 1982, he says that his prime inspiration for his projects are his customers, their comfort and requirements. He advises everyone to live in the present and enjoy life to the fullest. With such uncertain times, Singh believes that one should focus on improving their quality of life. With a positive view, he says that the year 2020 has been better than anticipated.
About the Group: With a broad range of offerings on their palette, Manohar Singh and Company deal in apartments, houses, villas, commercial spaces and more. Developing world-class infrastructure, their customer’s comfort and requirements are their first priority. They have a number of ongoing project in Chandigarh & Tricity. Singh says that after Delhi NCR, Tri-city is the best option for investment.
How would you define your experience of working in the real estate sector? How did it all start?
The parent company was started by my father in the year 1954 and I joined in with him after I completed my studies in 1982. In our experience of over 50 years we have been the pioneers in the industry and have always delivered great quality product. This is a very promising sector and I enjoy being a part of it.
2020 has been a year full of unpredictable times. How did it impact the real estate sector?
By god’s grace 2020 has been better than what we had anticipated. We had expected a very bad year for our industry with the coming of the pandemic but to a delightful surprise, it went in a different direction. With people realising the importance of good quality housing they are ready to invest in their dream homes and improve their quality of life.
