Tell us something about your initial realization of venturing into a career in beauty?
I have been born & brought up in Amritsar into a business family with my initial years of education from Sacred Heart High School, Dalhousie till 10th standard. I completed my higher education from DAV Public School, Amritsar and further pursued a graduation in Fashion Designing from Pearl Academy of Fashion, New Delhi. Even though I was studying fashion, I was always more inclined towards makeup ever since the very inception. After completing my degree from Pearl Academy, I went ahead to pursue my dream. With the support from of my family, I did a course in Makeup from Blossom Kochhar’s Academy in Delhi, followed by a professional course from celebrity Makeup artist Mr. Cory Walia (Mumbai).
It was certainly my grandmother who proved to be the beacon of light in my life and helped me accomplish my goal in Mumbai. After completing the course, I worked with MAC cosmetics in Delhi and started freelancing as a Makeup artist specializing in bridal & party makeup. I also conduct Makeup sessions for keen learners.
