Simrita Mann is an eminent yet humble educationist who enjoys a successful career as the Director of Doon International School, Mohali, and New Chandigarh. With a crystal-clear philosophy, “Cherish your visions and your dreams as they are the children of your soul, the blueprints of your ultimate achievements,” she aims to provide the students with a truly global perspective through the best schooling experience. With gumption and unbridled enthusiasm, she has crafted a story of success, demonstrating an ambition to bring a positive change to the education industry.
From where it began
Born in a family of edupreneurs, she followed the educational path of her choice, schooling at Welham Girls School, Dehradun, getting a Bachelors in Commerce (Hons) degree from Sri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi, and then pursuing law from the reputed Campus Law Center of Delhi University, New Delhi. “Unceasing support and motivation of my parents have shaped me to what I am today,” recalls Mann. Cherish your visions and your dreams as they are the children of your soul, the blueprints of your ultimate achievements. Striding ahead with the same spirit today, she is able to motivate and ignite the spark of truth, trust, confidence, and faith in her students devoid of which they remain incapacitated to achieve their goals and turn their dreams into reality.
She practiced in the Delhi High Court for three years before becoming an edupreneur at Doon International School. She never hesitates to break barriers down one after another to support the needy. She pays close attention to other people’s difficulties and concerns, and endeavors to understand and assist them. “The commencement of ‘Afternoon School for Girls of Economically Weaker Section’ is one of the school’s nascent moves to bridge the gap of gender discrimination, still prevailing in society,” she says.
