A stout believer in the doctrine of ‘health is wealth’, Gunjan was born & brought up in Jalandhar. She did her schooling from Apeejay School and to further hone her skills she pursued BSc. Food Science & Quality Control from MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh; followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications. Later, she got married and her husband came up with the fastfood chain, Nirulas in Jalandhar. However, seeing the negligible response of the customers, the duo had to shut the same. But as they say, everything happens for good; they initiated their own venture with the name Sunny Side Up (Bistro) which is among the most leading restaurants in Punjab.
To add another feather to the hat, Gunjan recently started the first-of-its-kind venture of mentoring little kids to cook healthy food and pave the way to a healthy living. What once started with the passion for food by seeking inspiration from her mother & mother-in-law, is today a dream come true.
