An epitome of beauty & fitness, Indian actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan believes that her aim, “is not just to lose the weight I had put on. I don’t want to do it overnight. It may take long, but I want to feel light, happy and energetic throughout the process. And that is important.”
Kareena ensures that her fitness & dietary regime is practiced under the supervision of renowned nutritionist, Rujuta Diwekar, who is also her pillar of support behind getting back in shape post-pregnancy.
While yoga and exercise has always been a staple ingredient in her daily routine, she pays major heed to her diet. She completely avoids rice, sugar and ghee. Kareena ensures that highly nutritious foods such as nuts & soya are consumed on a regular basis. She drinks at least 6-8 glasses or 2-3 liters of warm water every day, as it helps to flush out harmful impurities out of the body, and prefers to eat every 3 hours to stay energetic throughout the day.
For her workout sessions, Kareena prefers a combination of cardio, yoga exercise and dance in her workout session. She dedicates a minimum of 1 to 2 hours every day for fitness. She also firmly believes in Yoga as it is effective in synergizing the body and mind. Payal Gidwani Tiwari, a renowned celebrity yoga trainer assists her in yoga sessions. Pranayama, Bikram yoga, Surya Namaskar Asanas, Kapalbhati, Virabhadrasana, Parvatasana, Bhujangasana and Naukasana incubate her must-do yoga exercises.
