What drove you into academia? Brief us about your journey.
Since my childhood, I have been good at academics and there was a consistent curiosity to learn something new. After completing my graduation in Social Sciences (Hons.) at GNDU, Amritsar, I went to Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi for my master’s in international relations. It was the research driven environment at JNU that caught my academic interest, and I joined my Alma mater as an Assistant Professor in 2019. I believe my passion has paved its own way in the most beautiful way possible.
How has the experience been of teaching at your Alma mater?
It feels truly amazing and is an honour to be a faculty at the department which has been one of the steppingstones for my journey into academia. The experience has been beautiful so far with many accomplishments and I have always tried to put an outright approach into my work because making a difference is the whole point of it.
