HLV Film City – Where Creativity Thrives

Step into the world of HLV Film City, where creativity finds its home and aspirations take flight. with the Hitesh Lucky Verma, Managing Director, HLV Group talks about how it took birth from a passion for storytelling and a commitment to nurturing talent, this haven in Kharar’s Village Bhukhri is rewriting the script for Punjab’s entertainment industry.

What inspired the creation of HLV Film City, and how does it embody your vision for the entertainment industry?

HLV Film City emerged from a desire to cultivate a hub where creativity could flourish. The founder envisioned a space where storytellers, filmmakers, and artists could unite to innovate and bring their visions to life. The objective was to establish a comprehensive environment fostering creativity, promoting experimentation, and catering to the varied needs of the entertainment industry. The aim was to set new standards while nurturing emerging talent. The idea sprouted from recognizing the disorganized nature of the movie and song-making processes, prompting the realization that a unified solution allowing filmmakers to create, ideate, and shoot without production hassles or the need to shift crews to different locations would be a valuable business venture.”

Could you share anecdotes from your time in Canada that influenced the concept behind HLV Film City?

My experiences in Canada significantly shaped the vision for HLV Film City. The diverse cultural tapestry, the spirit of innovation, and the collaborative ethos prevalent in Canada inspired the creation of a space that embraces diversity, nurtures creativity, and encourages collaboration within the entertainment industry. My tenure as an Event Planner for Hallmark (an outsourced vendor of Rogers for Events) greatly contributed to this perspective. Planning numerous events during that time reinforced my belief in doing things correctly; the closer you get to perfection, the better the business, irrespective of life’s endeavours.
