After a long wait, love birds Aakash and Manica finally tied their nuptial knot on 7th December
Chandigarh-based duo Aakash and Manica recently tied the knot in a close-knit affair after being ‘rokafied’ for over a year.
Their marriage was solemnized in Palms, Zirakpur that had all the aura and style of a rich traditional wedding combined with a contemporary décor.
The duo complemented each other with their aesthetic attire – while Manica wore a Valaya lehnga in red, Aakash, who shopped from Chandigarh itself, wore a grey sherwani.
Aakash and Manica’s love got the perfect beginning with the pheras happening at ‘gaudhuli’ time (5 pm), which is considered to be very auspicious as per the shastras. The pheras were followed by a reception party. (And not to miss, their honeymoon plans at Maldives!).
While Aakash is into his family’s advertising business – BR AdS, Manica runs her own studio boutique in Panchkula – House of Sivasa.
Aakash is the grandson (of elder brother) of Pawan Kumar Bansal, and the bride is the daughter of Anil Kumar Gupta, IRS. The groom’s family, including Rajesh Bansal (father) and Vikram Bansal (Chacha) have been settled in Tricity for over 5 decades.
Adding the filmy touch to their wedding, the couple had their pre wedding song shot in the picturesque beauty of Rishikesh by Prateek and Rahul from 3P, Chandigarh.
