‘From helping my mother to my restaurant’s team’

Food was always his passion, and business was in his genes, from his father. This is the perfect combination required to establish a food business as successful as Kiscon Group of Companies. Jappreet Singh, Director of the company is proud of his achievements and thanks his parents for the right guidance and support. In conversation with Urban Melange, he talks about his journey and future plans.

Q. When did you start with Kiscon and what is the story behind it?

The foundation of Kiscon group of companies was laid by, my father, Kulwinder Singh in 1996 with Kiscon Constructions. Which was one of the leading construction company during that era and then he started several other businesses like crusher units, filling stations and more. Born and brought up in a farming based family with limited resources and funds, he worked day and night to build up this company. Then he trusted me and gave me the right environment for upbringing the focused business mind to achieve my goals.

Q. Tell us about your background and education.

I graduated in engineering in 2015 and later joined the business and started first food venture The Cubo by collaborating with Subway and Barista in 2017. Then later, I expanded it to other Northern parts of country by opening food outlets in Punjab, Haryana and Tricity.
