After being a successful human resource manager for eight years, she dropped it to pursue her passion and her calling. Bringing a smile to her bride’s face is what brought calm and contentment to her mind. Kavita Seth tells Urban Melange that Kavita Seth Artistry is all about celebrating the client’s individuality and making them feel more confident.
Many of us do not pursue our hobby as our profession, but lucky are those who find their calling and get an opportunity to pursue it as their profession. Someone rightly said it is not the right profession if your work doesn’t make you happy and content. Kavita Seth is one of those lucky people who found her calling in being a make-up artist and quit her job as an HR Manager to pursue her passion. Talking about her journey, she says, “I have my degree in Human Resource and had been an HR Manager with some of the best companies in Delhi for more than 8 years. However, I was always intrigued and fascinated with beauty, makeup, and fashion. I loved the feeling of doing makeup on my friends and having them feel beautiful. It was then that I realized makeup was my calling.”
“Drawn in by the world of the beauty industry and my passion for makeup, made me attend a Master class by Namrata Soni and since then there was no looking back. It was an incredible experience learning the techniques and strokes. I have timely enhanced my skills and learned more. I mostly give my clients a subtle, natural yet glamorous look that enhances their features and brings up the best version of them. The core belief at Kavitaseth artistry is to celebrate the client’s individuality and make her feel more confident,” adds Kavita.
She has dolled up a number of brides and helped them feel special in their own way. When we asked about her biggest achievement till now, she says, “My biggest achievement is having an emotional connection with my clients and gaining their trust by being referred to their family and friends. I love to see that smile after the final look of my brides and I am glad they all have become a family to Kavita Seth’s artistry.”
