With over two decades of dedicated service to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Khajornrit Khwanmongkol stands as a seasoned leader shaping Thailand’s global tourism presence. Currently serving as Director of the TAT New Delhi Office, he brings more than 22 years of experience in international tourism marketing, destination development, and strategic planning. Known for his thoughtful leadership style and strong industry insight, Khajornrit has consistently worked to position Thailand as one of the world’s most sought-after travel destinations.

A Global Perspective on Tourism

Throughout his career, Khajornrit has played an instrumental role in translating Thailand’s national tourism policies into impactful international strategies. His work has taken him across major global platforms, where he has managed and represented Thailand at prestigious international events such as ITB Berlin, Tourism EXPO Japan, and the renowned Floriade exhibition in the Netherlands. These opportunities not only strengthened Thailand’s global tourism partnerships but also showcased his ability to build meaningful collaborations across markets and cultures.

Beyond international assignments, he has also made a strong mark domestically. His tenure as Director of the Southern Market Division and Deputy Director for the Northeastern Region gave him hands-on experience in understanding regional tourism dynamics, strengthening local economies, and enhancing visitor experiences across Thailand’s diverse destinations.

He is a firm advocate of the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy Model and Low Carbon Tourism initiatives, both of which aim to balance economic growth with environmental preservation.
