“Designing is an art!”

Amanjot Kaur Brar, Founder, A&H Trendy Kitten sheds light on her trailblazing journey from being a small-town girl to becoming a globally recognized designer

Hailing her roots from the non-descript town of Muktsar in Punjab, Amanjot Kaur Brar grew up watching her mother doing embroidery as her hobby and that fascinated Brar so much that she started designing her own outfits.

She received so much appreciation and acclaim from her friends that she eventually decided to take the plunge and lay the foundation stone of A&H Trendy Kitten. Ever since then, A&H Trendy Kitten has carved a niche as a unique boutique specializing in the curation of timeless classics and modern silhouettes.

Humble Beginnings

A graduate in Commerce, Brar completed a fashion designing course from INIFD, Chandigarh in 2015 and started posting her designs on social media. Within just a few weeks, her designs got famous on social media and she started getting orders which were enough for her to start a small venture.

From 2015 onwards, it was like a rollercoaster ride. In a small town like Muktsar, people do not recognize designing as a reputed career. I believe in quality and work on tiny details of a design. I get inspiration from designers like Anita Dongre and Ali Xeeshan,” shared Brar.
