With infinite passion for leadership and a deep love for each other and their family, Reekrit Serai, the Dean of Satluj Group of Schools, and Radhika Panickar Serai, the Founder & CEO of Rumour Books India, radiate strength both professionally and personally. These childhood sweethearts met when they were all of 15 and have been together since, their fairytale reflects the vivacity and sweetness embedded in their distinguished personalities. As a power couple with thriving careers, how do you support and celebrate each other’s individual successes?
We are each other’s biggest cheerleaders and critics at the same time. We make it a point to celebrate all milestones, big and small, to keep each other motivated.
How do you handle professional disagreements, if any, without letting it affect your personal relationship?
Being best friends always helps. Given the fact that we’ve grown up together, we trust each other’s professional advice blindly. Disagreements, if any, are dealt with mutual understanding and patience.
If you could go back in time and give your younger selves one piece of relationship advice, what would it be?
We would definitely advise each other to date the same person over and over again. We wouldn’t want to change a thing, thankfully!
