Adding style to bath linen – K Towels

With her brand she is trying to give an upliftment to the livelihoods of various women from the less-privileged sector and she gives them a marketplace to showcase their products. Shelly’s passion drives her brand K Towels which she never feels like taking a break from. Her brand exudes luxury, personalized touch and unique products. In conversation with Nikita Agarwal, she talks about how it began and what she plans to do in the near future.

Tell us about KTowels and how did you begin with this brand?

I am a dentist by profession, but after I got married, it took a backseat and I wanted to do something which I could manage along with my daily chores and family. K Towels was my mother’s idea and she inspired me to go ahead with it. I have always been creative and that was my passion. My mother also has always been into embroideries and artworks. I come from a business family, and I got married into one as well, so business was always in my genes and then my husband supported me wholeheartedly in my passion. I started with it in the year 2012 and have been going strong since then.

How is your brand different from other brands in the industry?

The personal interaction with every client of mine to understand their requirements and their mindset is what makes my brand special. I try to understand their requirements and deliver a unique product with a personalized approach. Whether it is a big order or a small one, I don’t do products which are available in the market on the shelves. My first priority is to fulfil my client’s wishes to the fullest. We cover a wide area of industries. Secondly, the raw material that we use, and the towels that we use are personally procured by me, I make sure to check the quality of each and every piece so that the end product is of highest quality.
