Piyush Kansal
With a go-getter attitude, Piyush Kansal, Director, Chandigarh Royale City has been involved in the business from a very young age. Implementing his learnings from his education in London, he has been achieving great heights since he has come back to India. In a conversation with Urban Melange, he talks about his next big steps, journey, and more.
Q. Give us an introduction of yourself and your business?
I’m Piyush Kansal. I’m an optimistic & forward-looking person who believes in teamwork and innovation at work. I love to travel & party, London is my all-time favorite destination. I’m a graduate in MSC Management from Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom (2019). I was partially engaged in my family business of real estate & others before graduation. But after my graduation from the UK, I’m working full time as a Young Director at ‘Royale Estate Group’. At the time of joining as a director in the year 2019, I launched my very first independent commercial project “OXFORD STREET’’.
Q. What has been the most important part of your journey so far?
The time which I have spent in London was the most important part of my journey so far. It gave me great exposure to different cultures, business opportunities, people, experiences. It’s been most important because it helped in enhancing my skills & filled the competence to do something. I have been able to use my learning & skills in my business & social life here in India.
Q. What is the best and worst decision that you have ever made?
I don’t believe in the notion of best & worst decisions. Whatever we do in life gives us either success or new learning.
Q. As a young entrepreneur, what part of your business takes up most of your time?
I am mostly involved in Making the product unique with functions that can be best utilized by the consumer. I give my best efforts and that is how my organization can give experience along with the selling of products to make consumers happy & and make their life easy. Planning & execution of branding & marketing activities along with leasing with international & national retail & food brands, govt. banks on our projects are what take up most of my day.
