Architecture has always been more than a profession for Himanshu Suri—it is a legacy carried forward with sincerity, depth, and purpose. As the principal architect of Architect Suri & Associates, he blends inherited passion with a modern sensibility, creating work rooted in honesty, context, and emotional resonance.
What first drew you towards architecture — was it a childhood passion or something that evolved later?
Architecture has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father is an architect, so I grew up around drafting tables, site plans, and constant conversations on form and space. What began as a childhood fascination slowly transformed into a deeper sense of responsibility—an inner calling to carry forward a legacy of thoughtful, honest design.
How did Architect Suri and Associates come to life, and what was the vision behind it?
Architect Suri and Associates grew from a desire to build a practice rooted in integrity. The goal from the beginning was simple yet profound: to create architecture grounded in context, sensitive to people, and timeless in its presence. We never wanted to chase trends or superficial aesthetics. Instead, we aimed to craft spaces that feel authentic, functional, and emotionally enduring. Even today, this philosophy shapes every project we undertake.
