Pardeep Singh Mundi is a visionary entrepreneur and President of Ludhiana Central JCI in 2024. From humble beginnings rooted in a Jatt Sikh family, he shares his journey of transitioning from agriculture to founding GSD Buildcon & Infra along with his partner, Jaspal Singh Grewal. In conversation with Urban Melange, he talks about how his Sikh identity shapes his approach to life and business.
How does your Sikh identity influence your approach towards life?
My Sikh identity influences my approach towards life in profound ways. The core principles of Sikhism, such as seva (selfless service), equality, and compassion, guide my actions and interactions. These teachings emphasize the importance of humility, integrity, and respect for all beings, shaping my perspective on moral values, social responsibility, and spiritual growth. Additionally, the practice of simran (meditation) and seeking the divine within oneself helps me maintain inner peace and resilience amidst life’s challenges. Overall, my Sikh identity serves as a moral compass, inspiring me to live a life of purpose, empathy, and service to humanity.
