Central Pattaya Beach transformed into a vibrant sea of colours as over 1,00,000 tourists came together for the Amazing Thailand Grand Holi Festival 2025. This three-day extravaganza, one of the biggest Holi celebrations in Asia, brought Indian culture to life through music, dance, and performances, strengthening the deep ties between India and Thailand.
Organised by Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism and Sports (MOTS) and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the festival is expected to generate a massive 1 billion Thai Baht, giving a major boost to the local economy and tourism. The event also comes just weeks before the BIMSTEC Summit, where Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Thailand.
From electrifying Bollywood performances to a live DJ and renowned artists like F. Hero, MH43, King Waari, and ISKCON Kirtan, the festival kept the energy high. Visitors enjoyed authentic Indian cuisine and shopping, while the mass colour-throwing event symbolised love and unity.
Welcoming guests, Nikorn Sachdev highlighted Thailand’s growing appeal to Indian travellers, with 2.1 million Indian tourists visiting in 2024. Up next, Thailand will host a grand Diwali festival later this year, promising yet another spectacular celebration of Indian heritage!
