The Thailand Travel Mart Plus (TTM+) 2025 was held in Chiang Mai from 4–6 June with a strong focus on sustainability, digital innovation, and Thailand’s cultural soft power. Organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), this carbon-neutral event aimed to promote meaningful, responsible travel while spotlighting the rich heritage of the Lanna region.
Now in its 22nd edition, TTM+ brought together tourism professionals, international media, and global buyers to explore Thailand’s unique offerings. This year, the event also empowered local businesses with tools and ideas to grow responsibly and compete globally through innovation.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Minister of Tourism and Sports Mr. Sorawong Thienthong, alongside TAT Governor Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool and senior officials. Mr. Sorawong described the event as a platform for sustainable ideas and a key step toward rebuilding Thai tourism in 2025.
TTM+ 2025 sparks momentum across the tourism ecosystem,” said TAT Governor Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool. “It connects opportunity with action—driving revenue, expanding networks, and empowering Thai SMEs with the skills and exposure they need to thrive on the regional and global stage.”
Over the three days, delegates participated in curated pre-tours, the Thailand Product Update, business appointments, and cultural experiences like the vibrant “Chiang Mai Night.” The event wrapped up with a Business Networking Happy Hour, leaving behind strong partnerships and renewed energy for Thailand’s tourism future.
