At just 22, Hridik Chawla co-founded Essentia Home, carrying forward the creative legacy of Essentia Environments. With a unique vision for timeless luxury, homegrown craftsmanship, and sustainable design, he’s redefining how India experiences premium interiors—one intentional piece at a time.
What inspired the launch of Essentia Home at such a young age?
Growing up surrounded by design conversations and site visits, I absorbed everything, from material selection to layout detailing, firsthand. Watching my parents build Essentia Environments taught me a deep appreciation for quality and aesthetics. Launching Essentia Home at 22 felt like a natural extension of that upbringing, creating a platform that would reimagine furniture and décor with the same intentionality.
How do you define luxury in today’s interior design world?
For me, luxury is not about excess, but about refinement, functionality, and emotional resonance. It’s about how a piece feels, performs over time, and the thought put behind its making. At Essentia Home, we focus on quality that lasts and designs that speak quietly but powerfully.
What sets Essentia Home apart from other premium décor brands?
What sets us apart is the scale and depth of what we offer. From our 25,000 sq. ft. experience centre to the large range of categories—from furniture to lighting to fragrances—everything is designed and curated with a singular aesthetic clarity. With most of our products being made in-house, we have complete control over design, quality, and customization.
