What inspired you to enter politics at such a young age?
I had a vision for the community I am serving, so I wanted to start working towards it. It’s never too early because it takes time to implement plans and reach the stage where people start seeing results. My wife, Anmol Chahal, has been the driving force. She is very confident and selfless. My parents have been very supportive.
How do you envision your role in shaping the future of Punjab?
I want to motivate youth towards agriculture, agro-based industry, and the IT industry. Youth are flying out of Punjab every hour at an alarming rate, leaving behind rich and fertile land, which is being bought by MNCs and the IT sector. India is the future; billionaires all over the world are seeking opportunities to invest here, whereas our youth are heading the other way.
