Tell us about your story, how did both of you meet and decided to get married?
We studied B. Com Hons. together at Govt. College, Chandigarh. Being exceptionally tall, we got paired in people’s eyes even before we got to know each other. When it was time to get married, things just fell into place.
You both have written a few books together. What was your idea behind that?
Sanjay: In year 2000, I started sending a ‘Good thought’ from a desk calendar of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, to friends over email. My friends nicknamed me, ‘Mr Good Thought’. Every Sunday I would email an inspirational short story. We compiled the Sunday stories into a book, titled Sunrays for Sunday.
Priya: And I illustrated each story with a simple sketch. The heart-warming feedbacks received, encouraged us to do Sunrays for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The proceeds from their sale are used for philanthropic purposes.
