India’s first travelling food showcase – ‘The Travelling Kitchen – Winter Garden’ was held at the Chandigarh Golf Association (CGA) range, Sector 6.
“The festival not only celebrated the well established names of F & B scene of Tier 1 cities but is also displayed the talent of individual chefs from tricity. F & B brands from Tier one cities seasoned with some favourites from Chandigarh were a part of ‘The Travelling Kitchen”, said Bharat Atwal, Founder, The Travelling Kitchen.
Some of the respected names of Indian F & B Industry which became an attraction for visitors were Anandini Himalaya tea; which was brought by Anamika Singh, India’s celebrated tea-whisperer. Anamika’s variety of herbal teas presented a wonderful opportunity to visitors to have a wonderful cup of tea to beat the winter chill. IHOP a chain from NCR serving a wide variety of American diner fare also became a centre of attraction. Yuko – who is a passionate chef debuted at the festival, with sumptuous Japanese cuisine under the brand ‘Daidokoro by Yuko’.
Chandigarh based chefs like Aditya Prabhu who is a specialist in coastal food are presented their craft. Bhagirathmal , Jaipur had also put up its fare at TTK.
