What inspired you to enter politics at such a young age?
Coming from a political background, my inclination towards politics began during my time at Delhi University. Leading as the National Coordinator of NSUI and overseeing Delhi State, I’ve consistently stood against social injustices. Believing in the transformative power of youth in politics, I advocate for positive change. My commitment to constitutionalism and democracy led me to join the political arena early to drive systemic change.
How do you envision your role in shaping the future of Punjab?
As a young advocate within civil society and emerging youth politician, my vision for Punjab’s future revolves around harnessing our demographic dividend. Prioritizing marginalized communities, particularly the youth, is paramount. I aim to bolster our education system, fortifying individuals for real-world challenges. Infrastructure development and job creation will curb brain drain and mass migration. Additionally, I advocate for integrating extracurricular activities into our curriculum to steer youth away from detrimental influences like drugs.
