What inspired you to join the hospitality industry, particularly in Thailand?
My journey into the hospitality industry, especially within the enchanting landscapes of Thailand, is fueled by a blend of personal passion and strategic business insight. Growing up in a family that cherished adventure, my father’s profound appreciation for nature and exploration significantly influenced my own desires for adventure and discovery. My passion for diving and exploring the diverse beauty of Thailand and its surrounding areas has been a constant in my life.
As global travel began to open up, it presented the perfect opportunity for us to venture into the realm of hotel management. Thus, we established two distinct brands: Chatrium and Maitria. The Chatrium brand, a tribute to my father, Chatri, embodies the essence of our premier offerings. On the other hand, Maitria, derived from “Mai-Tree” signifying friendship, represents a brand that’s younger and more agile, yet equally committed to delivering exceptional service, tailored comfort, and the warmth of companionship to all its guests.
