The Dynamic Nikorn Sachdev is attached to the Secretariat Office to Prime Minister Office, has dedicated his life to bridging cultures and fostering community. With a deep-rooted commitment to social work, he has played a pivotal role in uniting Indian societies in Thailand, promoting cultural awareness, and inspiring the next generation to engage in meaningful change.

Tell us about your journey and why you chose to pursue a career in politics.

I have always been doing social work throughout my life, and when I became a director of the India-Thai Association, we realized that all our committees were scattered. So, we got them all under one umbrella, Indian Association of Thailand (IAT). After that, I thought that the need was to have a representation of our Indians in the government.

What is your vision for the Indo-Thai Association?

My vision for the Indian-Thai Association is that Indian Association of Thailand (IAT) should help out all the societies, our Indian societies and Indian cultures in Thailand. The next vision is that the Thai people should be aware of our Indian presence not just in terms of business but also in terms of society and cultural effects. They should be aware of our religious practices and come and celebrate our festivals with us.
