What inspired the two of you to start architecture_aNew?
Love for design, creativity, and a strong passion to see our creations come to life motivated us to start this journey.
How do your individual strengths complement each other as a design duo?
Amrit brings in her creative side, extra emphasis on details, and an impactful design approach. I bring in a more comfort- and practicality-centric approach, so together we balance and complement each other’s strengths.
What were some of the biggest challenges you faced in the early years of your firm?
Earlier, clients were not very open to experiments, fresh ideas, or even detail-oriented designs for that matter. With time, clients themselves have become more aware of trends, want them to be incorporated, and are supportive of new ideas.
