In a world driven by constant change, few entrepreneurs manage to balance tradition, innovation, and craftsmanship the way Lovemeet Singh, founder of BSA Canada Corporation, does. Carrying forward the proud legacy of his father and grandfather, Lovemeet has turned his family’s long-standing reputation for precision and trust into an international benchmark in cabinetry, construction, and engine manufacturing.
You’ve built BSA Canada Corporation’s reputation on craftsmanship and trust. What inspired you to start this journey?
My father, Sirdar Mohan Singh, was my biggest inspiration. He wanted me to learn a skilled trade and made me promise that if I ever moved to Canada, I would never take up a job but instead start my own business. That promise became my purpose. It pushed me to build something that reflects both skill and self-reliance — and that’s how BSA Canada Corporation began.
How has your design philosophy evolved over the years?
I started by designing large homes, but soon realized the creativity and precision needed in smaller, more detailed spaces like kitchens and home renovations. Over time, I’ve designed and built everything from kitchens and home offices to pharmacies, restaurants, and even staff lunchrooms — including one for Canada Goose, one of the world’s most famous outerwear brands. I’ve worked on Chinese and Indian restaurants, grocery stores, walk-in closets, home theatres, and recently completed a large factory. Every project has taught me something new about design, functionality, and how people connect with spaces.
