Legacy in Trust, Growth in Vision

For the STJ Group, growth has never been about chasing numbers—it has always been about building credibility, brick by brick and promise by promise. Steering this group is a close-knit leadership bond between Anil Goyal, the guiding force of the group, and his nephew Kashish Goyal, who brings a modern, future-focused perspective to the business.

Today, STJ Group stands among the most prominent developers in Aero City, Mohali, with the largest land parcel in the region—spanning nearly 40 acres—and the biggest commercial footprint on Airport Road. Known for fastest construction timelines in the Tricity, a customer-centric approach, and being a deeply employee-centric organisation, the group has built its reputation on speed, scale, and trust. In conversation with Urban Melange, Anil and Kashish speak about legacy, leadership, and shared responsibility across generations and businesses.

How did the foundation of STJ Group take shape?

Anil Goyal: The journey began with jewellery, because that is a business built entirely on trust. When someone buys jewellery, they are investing emotions, savings, and tradition. From the very beginning, my focus was to offer purity, transparent pricing, and honest dealings. That philosophy later became the DNA of STJ Group.

When STJ Group expanded into real estate, what drove that decision?

Anil Goyal: Real estate, like jewellery, requires long-term trust. We entered the sector only when we were confident that we could deliver projects that reflect quality, transparency, and timely execution. It was a natural extension of our values. Over time, our ability to deliver at speed—while maintaining quality—has become one of our strongest differentiators.

Kashish Goyal: Real estate is a shared responsibility for us. My role has been to bring structure, planning, and a modern lifestyle perspective, while learning from my uncle’s experience in execution and risk management. As a group, we are extremely customer-centric, and equally employee-centric—because motivated teams and transparent systems are what allow large projects to move efficiently and smoothly.
