Himani’s transition from science to fashion was not a departure, but an evolution. This approach laid the foundation for Studio by Himani Arora, which she founded in 2010. The studio has grown into a one-stop luxury showroom for pret and couture, seamlessly blending refined design with responsibility. Through Studio HA, Himani has gone beyond clothing to create impact—setting up skill centres in prisons and villages, turning overlooked hands into skilled artisans and giving dignity to forgotten talent. Alongside this, she co-founded Amaana Weaves, a project dedicated to Chanderi and Banarasi handlooms. Working directly with artisans and eliminating middlemen, the initiative preserves heritage while ensuring fair livelihoods—an ethos that runs through all her ventures.
