Driving Thailand’s MICE Momentum Forward

With decades of hospitality experience under her belt, Prachoom Tantiprasertsuk, Vice President Operations at Dusit Hotels & Resorts and the newly elected President of TICA (Thailand Incentive and Convention Association), brings vision, heart, and strategic focus to her role. She shares her goals, inspiration, and the roadmap to elevate Thailand as a global MICE powerhouse.

Q: What are your top priorities as TICA President for 2025–2026?

My top three priorities are:

  1. To establish a strong working team, including AVPs, Committee Chairpersons and Co-Chairs, as well as the Secretary General and Treasurer.
  2. To define a clear strategy and actionable plan for the organization.
  3. To foster collaboration across government, private sector, academic institutions, and related organizations—leveraging Thailand’s strengths and resources to further promote the country as a leading MICE destination.

Q: How do you plan to bring your experience from Dusit Hotels & Resorts into your leadership at TICA?

Dusit’s core pillars—Graciousness through Service Excellence, Sustainability, Locality, and Health & Wellness—are deeply aligned with the values and needs of the MICE industry. I plan to integrate these principles into TICA’s direction, promoting Thailand’s unique cultural heritage and hospitality as key selling points in our international positioning.

Q: Can you share more about your vision for cross-generational collaboration within the MICE industry?

The younger generation is our future. It is essential that we pass on our knowledge and experience to empower them—not just to carry on our legacy, but to elevate Thailand’s MICE industry further. My vision includes structured training, upskilling programs, and embracing digital transformation to ensure we remain globally competitive.
