What led you to start AK Clinics?
When we began our careers in the medical field and after spending some time at Dayanand Medical College, we realized that there was a huge gap between patient expectations and the quality of aesthetic care being delivered—especially in the area of hair restoration. This realization inspired us to pursue advanced training in hair transplant techniques, which led us to Dr. Ginzburg in Ra’anana, Israel, in 2007. That experience opened our eyes to the possibilities of delivering world-class outcomes with patient-first practices. It was clear to us then that to truly make a difference, we needed to step out of the conventional system and build something of our own. That idea became AK Clinics in 2008 — where science, ethics, and empathy meet to create transformational results.
How did your journey begin in this field?
We initially started offering hair and skin aesthetic services from our home setup. As patient trust and demand grew, Dr. Aman took the bold step of leaving her position at DMC to focus fully on this emerging specialty. This led to the opening of our first dedicated clinic in Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana. Later, Dr. Kapil also stepped away from hospital duties to focus entirely on expanding AK Clinics across other cities. What began as a shared passion gradually transformed into a purpose-driven brand that has now helped thousands regain their confidence.
