Celebrating Purpose and Passion: Creating with Soul

Known for her heartfelt Instagram page Mom of Boys and her social impact initiative Leaders & Listeners, Ritu Singh’s journey is about passion, purpose, and making a difference—one thoughtful act and one tiffin box at a time.

How does it feel to be recognized for your social work across Tricity and NCR through this initiative?

It’s incredibly rewarding and humbling to see Leaders & Listeners being acknowledged for the work we’ve done in such a short span. One of the most special moments for us was being honored by Shri Gulab Chand Kataria ji, Governor of Punjab. That recognition meant a lot—not just as a validation of our efforts, but as a motivation to keep striving harder.

We have always believed in quality over quantity, and our events reflect that—from strong guest panels to impactful themes that touch lives. Being recognized at such a prestigious level reminds us that genuine efforts rooted in purpose never go unnoticed. It encourages our entire team to keep working relentlessly and responsibly toward creating a better tomorrow.

What inspired you to start Leaders & Listeners, and what kind of social impact are you aiming for?

Leaders & Listeners was started with the core belief that many social causes either go unheard or receive surface-level attention without long-term impact. We wanted to create a platform that not only raises awareness but also works actively on the ground to address these issues. Whether it’s mental health, youth engagement, women empowerment, or wellness—our goal is to take up meaningful causes from time to time, understand the root of the problem, and contribute in ways that create real transformation.

Our vision is to bring together passionate individuals who lead with empathy and listen with intent. We want to foster a community that doesn’t just talk about change but becomes the change, creating a ripple effect that makes our society more inclusive, conscious, and compassionate.
