What inspired you to enter politics at such a young age?
I’ve always been deeply passionate about serving my community. Spending much of my childhood away from home, I witnessed the challenges faced by our people in Punjab, which motivated me to step into politics early, driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
How do you believe your background in a political family has influenced your passion for serving society?
Growing up in a political family provided me with a platform and a dedicated area to focus my efforts. Seeing my parents, uncle, and family tirelessly work for the betterment of our constituency instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility. Each day reinforces the importance of public service and the significant impact one can have on people’s lives, a fulfilling yet weighty responsibility.
Can you share specific initiatives or projects you’ve undertaken to contribute to the betterment of humanity?
Recently, we launched an Anti-drug drive in our district, collaborating with Rudra A Care and our NGO, The Simran Foundation, providing free subsidized Ayurvedic medicines to help addicts quit. We’re seeking funding to expand this program statewide due to its remarkable results. Additionally, we’ve organized free medical camps in rural areas, offering timely interventions and multiple free check-ups, benefiting thousands.
